Max an 80 year old pensioner was looking for a new surface in his living areas as the carpet was tired looking and attracted dirt and hair from ‘Alfie’ his pet dog. This was messy and difficult to clean.
His family researched a variety of surfacing options that would be easy to clean, look good and cost effective, and eventually the Ustik Luxury Vinyl Planks were chosen because Max knew he and his family could lay the planks themselves and save money.

“Ustik was referred to me by my daughter and I’m rapt with the outcome.
I wanted a surface which was easy to clean and cost effective, and the Ustik planks we could do-it ourself..... I saved heaps and they were quick & easy to lay.
My room looks great and I finally have a modern looking unit which I’m proud of when friends and family come to visit. Alfie loves it too!
The outcome is definitely better than I expected and I don’t feel the cold through the concrete slab like I used to”.
Outstanding result
After completing the job Max couldn’t get overhow quick and easy the Ustik® Planks were to lay.
He’s also mentioned how much the planks feel warmer and more comfortable under foot whichis contributed to the Ustik’s 3mm rubber ‘self-stick’backing which has fantastic thermal properties and acoustic benefits. This is definitely a benefit over floor tiles which can be cold and tiring to your legs.
